Gigi Walent-Burke is an experienced Human Resources professional with over 23 years of leadership across both small and large organizations. A Sarnia native, she holds a BA in Sociology (minor in Psychology) from Lakehead University, completed Human Resources studies at Lambton College, and is a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) with the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario.

In 2020, Gigi founded Sound HR Associates Inc., where she partners with Ontario businesses to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and build leadership capacity for sustainable growth. She remains actively engaged in the Sarnia-Lambton community and brings valuable governance experience through her service on multiple boards.
