Carrie became the CEO of the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce in May 2022, bringing with her a strong record of leadership, community building, and entrepreneurial vision.
For more than 25 years, Carrie has dedicated her career to strengthening organizations and empowering people. Before stepping into her role at the Chamber, she served as Executive Director of Sarnia-Lambton Rebound and held leadership positions with Pathways Health Centre for Children and Community Living Sarnia-Lambton. Alongside her non-profit leadership, Carrie is also a small business owner committed to helping women develop leadership and management skills that spark real change.
Carrie is deeply connected to her community. She is the past chair of the Sarnia Lambton Social Services Network, a past president and long-time member of the Rotary Club of Sarnia, and serves on numerous boards locally, provincially, and binationally—including the Sarnia Lambton Economic Partnership, Bluewater Chamber of Commerce in Port Huron, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, and the Chamber Executives of Ontario. She also lends her expertise as a public appointee to the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and as a member of the Premier’s Council for Equality of Opportunity.
Carrie holds a master’s degree in leadership from Royal Roads University and a Non-Profit Management Certificate from Western University. A proud Sarnia-Lambton resident for 26 years, she and her husband Matt raised their five children here, building their family and future alongside the community she serves.
