2024 Ontario Economic Report Launch Event - Addressing the Mental Health "Echo Pandemic" in Ontario
In October 2023, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) released Mind the Gap: Addressing the Mental Health “Echo Pandemic,” a detailed report outlining recommendations examining the interconnected impacts of the mental health and addictions crisis on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), communities, and the provincial health care system. As part of our continued work on this important issue, the OCC invites you to a webinar on January 23, 2024, addressing the ongoing impacts of the mental health “echo pandemic.”
Our expert panelists, drawn from the community mental health sector, provincial health care sector, and the business community, will delve into the specific challenges faced by Ontario’s SMEs, frontline workers, and underserved populations, as well as opportunities for further government action.
