Premier Doug Ford Renews Team that will Deliver on Promise to Build Ontario
New Cabinet will work hard to deliver on government’s plan to build, including housing, highways and public transit

Premier Doug Ford announced changes to his Cabinet with a renewed team that will deliver on the government’s promise to build Ontario.
“As our province’s population and economy grow, it’s never been more important for us to build Ontario,” said Premier Doug Ford. “As we continue to attract billions of dollars in new investments to create better jobs with bigger paycheques, we have the right team in place to get it done. We’ll never stop working on behalf of the people of Ontario to build the homes, highways and public transit our growing communities need.”

Dine Ontario
The Government of Ontario is launching a new initiative to promote Ontario restaurants as well as the great things that are grown and produced provincewide.
This year marks the 25th Annual Ontario Agriculture Week, providing us with an opportunity to celebrate our hardworking farmers and food processors while supporting restaurants which are an important part of communities across the province. From October 1-8 we will be running a promotion called Dine Ontario. To participate restaurants must feature a special made with Ontario food and where possible paired with an Ontario wine, cider, craft beer or spirit. This could include highlighting current menu items or a new feature for the week.
Free resources will be provided to help source Ontario products upon sign-up.
A Business Argument for Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace
September 14th at the Sunbridge Hotel
Anthony Folan, Managing Director, Integral HR Solutions and fellow SLIA Member will be hosting a SLIA Learning Session
The session learning objectives are.
• Raise awareness in relation to unconscious bias, attitudes & beliefs.
• Raise awareness in relation to systemic discrimination.
• Discuss best in class HR practices that promote diversity and inclusion.
• Identify groups that are traditionally under-represented in the workplace (women, people of colour, indigenous people, differently abled people).
• A review of the Human Rights and Employment Standards Regulations
• Discuss strategies to address going forward.
• Q&A
You may register up to 3 employees per company.
Registration will take place from 7:45-8:00am
