Concerns Mount in Region Over Proposed Dresden Landfill Expansion
The Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee recently provided feedback on EOR-025-0389 regarding the proposed changes to the York1 Waste Disposal Site. Our comments focus on the potential traffic and transportation impacts of the proposal, particularly for communities along the trucking routes.
In our submission, we highlight the importance of thorough environmental and transportation assessments, community consultation, and consideration of economic impacts before the project moves forward. Our full comments, including support for a Comprehensive Environmental Assessment as outlined in ERO-019-8417, are detailed in the attached letter.
